Not a networking expert here so hoping someone can help, I have a Max Transit Pro Duo with a T-mobile sim as priority 2 and a Verizon wifi hotspot (inseego M2100) running wifi as WAN as priority 1 which is getting very poor upload speeds 1-3mbps and usable download speeds 30-40dwn, this is using a Parsec Husky Pro 7 roof mounted antenna with a ground plane.
The issue is this:
Test 1: Connection to Max Transit Pro through work VPN (same config as before, vzn wifi as wan hotspot noted previously) = very low upload speeds 1-2mbps average
Test 2:Connecting directly to the hotspot bypassing the peplink still on the work vpn = very good speeds 80dwn 30up mbps.
It seems the VPN is detecting something different about the peplink over the hotspot itself and slowing speeds greatly. When testing on a phone or non-work laptop the same configuration above gives very good speeds so it is only when using the VPN with the PEPlink that I am unable to get decent upload speeds.
