Max Transit Mini - Slow Speeds / Hard to connect to MS Surface Pro 7 - Windows 11

Back in February I purchased a Pepwave Max Transit Mini, an Antenna Gear M640B-2CGW antenna, a 100gb AT&T data plan, and a T-Mobile data plan. Since that time, I have not been able to get adequate data speeds for streaming or surfing.

Typically, with my AT&T plan it ran less than 5 Mbps and the T-Mobile less than 3 Mbps. Occasionally I could get one Standard definition TV to stream without buffering on the AT&T and I could “never” get the T-Mobile to work. This has been the case in site after site across the US.

In addition, I have an extremely hard time getting it to connect to my MS Surface Pro 7 (Windows 11). It frequently takes over a half hour of repeated attempts to connect.

Finally, the device frequently hangs up, requiring it to be reset.

I purchased the device from Expedition Communications and despite a huge amount of time with them; their position is that it is a carrier problem. They have refused to provide alternatives, refund the purchase, or to apply the purchase price to another device.

Last week I upgraded my Wi-Fi Ranger Sky4 to an LTE model with a modem. After moving the AT&T SIM to the Wi-Fi Ranger the speeds over tripled and the streaming / surfing is stable. Typical data speeds are now well over 20 Mbps.

Has anyone in the community bought a Pepwave Max Transit Mini, and if so, has it worked OK? I am trying to figure out what to do with it. Any advice would be appreciated.
