MAX HD2 Hardware update

Hello,
One of my costumers have MAX-HD2-LTE-E-T router. Mentioned router have CAT4 modems, Sierra Wireless MC7304. This modems does not support carrier aggregation and LTE speed is slow.
Is it possible to change modems to something better at least CAT6.
Replacing hardware is easy part, but do I need change firmware?
Does Peplink sale mentioned Mini PCI-E modems as parts?
Or is there a list of supported modems?

Hi @luka.madunic. No, higher-tier modems are not available for retro-fits. Your solution will be to upgrade to a new router which includes modems which are Cat6 (LTEA) or higher.
