Lost connection to Balance One all of sudden

Today I lost all connections to Balance One all of sudden. So I have to power on/off the router as below.

Feb 19 19:09:33
System: Started up (6.1.2 build 1597)

Feb 19 17:55:09
WAN: Priority changed (Priority 1 - CenturyLink Fiber / Priority 2 - Comcast Cable / Priority 3 - Mobile Internet)
WAN: Priority changed (Priority 1 - CenturyLink Fiber / Priority 2 - Comcast Cable)
My question:

 1. Is there any other better way to monitor the status of Balance One so that more information can be obtained when all connections are lost?
 2. Will the restore to factory be helpful? I do not have many customization except:

a. Speed of WAN1/WAN2 is 1000Mbps Full Duplex (advertise speed)
b. MTU of WAN1 is AUTO instead of 1440.

The freeze (lock up) issue might be due to the plug/unplug of the 4G LTE USB modem according to the event log, so it is not that a big deal because I will power cycle it whenever there is any software/hardware configuration changes from now on.
