Layer 2 VPN with multiple VLANS using 6.2?

Due to a severed fiber connection, we need to setup a long-term temporary Layer 2 VPN between two sites that can pass multiple VLANs using trunking.

The article Layer 2 SpeedFusion VPN Configuration does not work with firmware 6.2.

Also, this article is not clear on which port to use to connect the Peplink Balances to the remote site uplink switchport or the distribution switchport.

Should I use Drop-in mode?

The WAN transport will be LTE modems using public IPs.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the info.

I have the Layer 2 VPN configured at both ends, and I can ping each device from the other, but the tunnel is not building.

They both are showing that they are starting…

Any pointers on what to check and how to best test the connectivity?
