Layer 2 bridge problem?

I’m trying to create a layer 2 PepVPN bridge with a Surf Soho as the remote client and a Balance One as the HQ.

I don’t have Speedfusion, but I found this guide online that seemed appropriate: Peplink | Pepwave - Forum On the Surf Soho I set it to get ip via DHCP and become a network extender. However, the PepVPN never connects.

Digging further, even though I’m using 6.1.x firmware on both, I found this guide and followed most of it: Peplink | Pepwave - Forum I’m not sure how much of this is 6.2 firmware specific. This guide mostly seems the same as the above speedfusion guide. The one piece I did not follow is set untagged VLAN. Could that be causing the PepVPN not to connect.

For reference, I am able to connect the Surf Soho to the Balance One using PepVPN without layer 2 bridging.

Update on this: This is working for me now. I’m not sure what change resulted in the Layer 2 Bridge working.
