Jetpack-SOTG as second WAN source for Balance 310?

Is it possible to use a SOTG as the input for WAN2 on a Balance 310? If so, how is the SOTG setup?

I have mixed wired/wireless environment and would like to add the Jetpack/SOTG combo to replace the DSL connection I now have if it is possible.

TIA,

You want to connect as this way?

Hello,

Yes this is supported.

I would setup the SOTG in bridged mode and turn off it’s built-in WAP.

  1. Go to Misc tab to switch to bridged mode
  2. From the main settings page, at the very bottom you can disable the WAP functionality.

Jarid -

What, if anything, do I need to do on the Balance 310 side for wan2?

Hello,

You shouldn’t have to do anything for it to connect

Thanks! And it was literally plug and play. Appreciate your help!
