hyperV server with speedfusion hub

We are installing a speedfusion hub on a hyper V server. The server is managed by a third party who don’t want to manage the appliance. What can incontrol 2 see of the hyperV resorces? The third party concern is that when an upgrade is completed or the log generates excessive entries will the server crash if there have been insufficient resources allocated

Nothing. The hypervisor is invisible to IC2.

Its very hard to allocate insufficient resources to a FusionHub vm to the point where it can not be managed or operated remotely. What’s the target SpeedFusion throughput you need it to support?

Thanks Martin, we are looking at 30Mb between two SF VPNs but it could grow to 300Mb from 10 video feeds plus data.

Start with a single cpu (fast as you have access to) and 1GB of ram. As you add more peers keep an eye on RAM and add more when you need to.

Thanks Martin, unfortunately we don’t have access to the HyperV server, that is managed by a third party. Have you any idea what we would see on the log if there was a problem with lack of memory or processing capability?

There would be nothing in logs. If there are hardware resource issue you’d juts see limited throughput.
