I have a balance 30pro ii want to block P2P traffic can i do it in my Balance One
If yes please guide me
Hello @Aziz_Safi ,
Are you referring to Precision Time Protocol?
The Precision Time Protocol (PTP) is a protocol used to synchronize clocks throughout a computer network. On a local area network, it achieves clock accuracy in the sub-microsecond range, making it suitable for measurement and control systems. PTP is employed to synchronize financial transactions, mobile phone tower transmissions, sub-sea acoustic arrays, and networks that require precise timing but lack access to satellite navigation signals.
The first version of PTP, IEEE 1588-2002, was pub...
Why do you need to block PTP traffic? PTP trafic is primarily used on local networks, not the internet.
Time via the internet is normally done using NTP.
The Network Time Protocol (NTP) is a networking protocol for clock synchronization between computer systems over packet-switched, variable-latency data networks. In operation since before 1985, NTP is one of the oldest Internet protocols in current use. NTP was designed by David L. Mills of the University of Delaware.
NTP is intended to synchronize all participating computers to within a few milliseconds of Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).: 3 It uses the intersection algorithm, a modified vers...
You can block NTP if you need with any Peplink|Pepwave router, or better still if you have a newer higher end model, you can use it as your NTP time server.

My question is, suppose you blocked the uTorrent domain in the pep link balance one , there are some software’s that we can use to download the video. What is the way to block all traffic related to uTorrent?
Hello @Aziz_Safi ,
So you are referring to Peer-to-Peer file sharing.
Peer-to-peer file sharing is the distribution and sharing of digital media using peer-to-peer (P2P) networking technology. P2P file sharing allows users to access media files such as books, music, movies, and games using a P2P software program that searches for other connected computers on a P2P network to locate the desired content. The nodes (peers) of such networks are end-user computers and distribution servers (not required).
The early days of file-sharing were done predominantly by clien...
Have you looked at using the Content Filtering options within the Balance One?
