Help with Vlan'S

Hello everyone
I need help with Vlan’S.
I work with Balance 30, which has 4 LAN ports, which means I can actually generate 4 networks in diffrent Subnets.
I want to produce a few more sub-networks but do not know what to set in blance, and what to set on the switch

At least one of the LAN ports on the Balance will need to be configured as a trunk port. The switch needs a trunk port configured using the standard 802.1q VLAN trunking.

Does this mean that standard 802.1q should identify all vlan’s?

Yes, the switch would be configured with the same VLANS as the Balance.
