Hardware Warranty Policy

All Peplink Hardware purchased from Peplink or Authorized Partners will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months, starting from the time of shipment of the Hardware, or the date the Hardware was purchased according to sales registration, whichever is later. To provide greater peace of mind for our Partners and Customers (“Customers”), Peplink will grant a 14 day grace period (“Grace Period”) for extended warranty purchase. During the Grace Period, Customers will be eligible to purchase an extended warranty for the expired device from the Peplink Online Store. Below are the highlights of our updated warranty policy with effective from 16 April 2019:

For Velocity Product Hardware:

  • During the warranty coverage period, Customer can purchase an Extended Warranty for the Velocity Hardware from the Peplink Online Store. The Extended Warranty begins on the day after the original warranty expiry date.
  • Upon warranty expiration, a Grace Period of 14 days will be granted. During the Grace Period, Customer will be able to purchase Extended Warranty from the Peplink Online Store. The Extended Warranty begins on the day after the original warranty expiry date.
  • Between the 15th day up to 1 year from the warranty expiry date,
    • subject to a Diagnostic Report once submitted and passed, Customer will be entitled to purchase the Extended Warranty (via manual order issued by Peplink order team, until the online Diagnostic Report submission automation is ready). The Extended Warranty begins on the day after the original warranty expiry date.

For Blue Chip Product Hardware (and MOQ Category product, i.e. Balance 30 Pro):

  • During the warranty coverage period, Customer can purchase an Extended Warranty or SmartCare (or TotalCare, only available for US and Canada End User) (“SmartCare”) for the Blue Chip Hardware from the Peplink Online Store. The Extended Warranty begins on the day after the original warranty expiry date; whereas the SmartCare begins from the date of purchase, unless otherwise specified by the Customer.
  • Upon warranty expiration, a Grace Period of 14 days will be granted. During the Grace Period, Customer will still able to purchase Extended Warranty or SmartCare from the Peplink Online Store. The Extended Warranty begins on the day after the original warranty expiry date; whereas the SmartCare begins from the date of purchase, unless otherwise specified by the Customer.
  • Between the 15th day and up to 2 years from the warranty expiry date,
    • subject to a Diagnostic Report once submitted and passed, Customer will be entitled to purchase the SmartCare (via manual order issued by Peplink order team, until the online Diagnostic Report submission automation is ready). The SmartCare Warranty date begins from the date of purchase;
    • if the Diagnostic Report is unavailable or failed, Customer will only be entitled to purchase Out of Warranty Repairing Service. Out of Warranty Repaired Hardware will be entitled to One Year Extended Warranty from the shipment date.

Remark:

1. Out of Warranty Repairing Service

The cost for the out of warranty repair for all devices will be 50% of the MSRP price, in which:

  • No discounts for Resellers
  • Customer shall bear two-way shipping costs
  • The repaired (or replacement) unit comes with a 1 year standard warranty. Warranty begins from the shipping date.

2. Trade-in / Trade-up

  • Trade-up option is available for Blue Chip (and MOQ Category) Hardware
  • Please contact your Peplink Account Manager for the arrangement.

3. Diagnostic Report

  • A Diagnostic Report is required to validate warranty if the Peplink hardware is already out of warranty. More information on how to export a Diagnostic Report can be found at this link (instructions).

AP One Flex out of warranty and can't extend warranty
