Guest & Private Network on Different Subnet

Hi, we have a scenario where we need to keep two groups of users separate from each other for security reasons but using the same Balance device and therefore WAN connections.

For example, the private clients on a network of 10.1.1.0/24 and the guest clients on a network of 192.168.0.0/24 - the guest network must not be able to see or access the 10.1.1.0/24 network but still be able to get to the outside world/internet through the same Balance device.

Is this possible? If so, how?

Hi Dave,

You just need to hook up a small router on the LAN side of the Balance for the guest clients. A simple firewall rule will block any access to the private network.

Thanks,

Tim
