FusionHub Solo: SpeedFusion support on Small/SOHO End Points

Will the SpeedFusion function only be available to devices that already have a SpeedFusion license i.e. Balance 380 and above (and B1 with SF upgrade) or will it work with B1, B1 Core, B20, B30, B305 too?

Yes, SF features are determined by the physical Peplink device. But B20, B30, and the likes can still take advantage of PepVPN with FusionHub Solo.

Surely if you use PepVPN instead of normal load balancing it will give you only a single connection unless it fails rather than all lines balanced? Why would you use PepVPN?

For sure, there is less incentive to use FH Solo. But there are situations where you want to tunnel your traffic to a datacenter in order to get static IP addresses, connect to your other LAN segments, or set up VPN to another location.

Using PEPvpn back to a data center allows you to have a static public IP address even though you provider might only give you a dynamic or even NATed IP address.
The other advantage is PEPvpn can failover to a different WAN if your main one fails and you still have your static public IP address routed to your device. (PEPvpn is cold failover so you can lose connectivity temporarily but it will automatically connect via an alternative WAN)
