FusionHub (8.4.x) running on Azure 8.4.x MAJOR issue with SpeedFusion

Hi,

If you want to deploy FusionHub on Azure, and use Speedfusion, DO NOT use release 8.4.x release : it’s fully broken !!
None of the release in this release train is working !
Basically, the Speedfusion comes up, you can ping the remote site but TCP traffic is NOT working (you’ll just see SYN, SYN ack).
Releases 8.1.x, 8.2.x and 8.3.x are running fine.

Regards,

HA

Have you opened a support ticket with peplink to have them look into this further to confirm it’s a fw issue or a firmware and environment issue?

Are you trying to get traffic to devices in routed subnets on the LAN side of the peplink?

Ie if your Fusionhub is 10.0.0.1/24, and is recieving routes on the LAN side for 10.20.20.0/24 from a device on say 10.0.0.10?

If so, you need to enable “send all speedfusion traffic to LAN” and put the gateway IP of 10.0.0.10 in. Otherwise, the return path traffic is dropped.

Hi,

Yes, “send all speedfusion traffic to LAN” is configured AND working on release below 8.4.x.
As soon as I upgrade to 8.4.x, TCP traffic stop working.

HA

There is a bug in 8.4.0, if you lodge a ticket peplink will give you the link for a later build that has the fix (or upgrade to 8.4.1 rc2)
