For a while now, I’ve been observing frequent 500-1000ms latency spikes with Peplink’s NYC SFC servers on both WAN links and I’m wondering if other people are seeing this.
Just to be clear, the latency spikes are reported by SF itself and the spikes seem very synchronized between independent WAN links. My setup is trivial and the router CPU seems relatively idle.
To be totally honest, it feels like bufferbloat, but on the server end. That or the SFC server is virtual and the underlying server is overcommitted.
Also can Peplink (with remote access) stress test a SFC setup? That would seem super useful.
