Say you’re delegating firewall operations to a dedicated unit, are you keeping inbound traffic blocked by built in firewall on peplink router or not? Handy only in case of dedicated firewall failure…

Eh, kinda. I block all inbound traffic on my Peplink MAX BR2 Pro, but I also treat my Peplink MAX BR2 Pro as a WAN provider and allow pfSense to manage all firewall traffic.

Yes, but since I have no open ports on the cellular side, I never have a reason to allow anything inbound that’s not already an established tcp connection.
