Hello Peplink Team,
lately we changed our Data center structure and we use the Balance 710 as our Hub and captive Portal server. It can only administer three captive portals. We like to use it for many more sites. Is it possible to include this in the functionallity, please? Otherwise we have to look for another solution.

What is the hardware and firmware versions of your Peplink Balance 710?
Also are you using InControl2 to monitor & manage your Balance 710. From our experience, using InControl2 allows you a lot more flexibility in Captive Portal options.

We use the incontrol2 to make our captive portal. It was told to me that The Balance 710 can only transfer 3 of the cps to the Layer 2 connected routers.
In Control Version: 2.8.2.2, Balnce 710 Firmware: 8.0.2 build 2721
@ Eddy: We need at least 10 but the number is growing customer for customer.

Can you verify the recommended limits for the Peplink/Pepwave models in how many Captive Portals each is able to sustain/support.

@ChristianH For 710 on the next major release, we shall increase the number of captive portal support to 16. This update covers models from B305+ for Enterprise/Headquarters.

what is the cause for the limitation? Hardware?
As I understood the usage from ChristianH (a really cool Idea to bring the captive portals to their cosutmers), they need one for every costumer. So for a MSP it could be easier if you can use much more captive portals.
