Discontinued model security firmware updates?

We have a Pepwave Surf On-The-Go. I understand it’s been discontinued as a current product, but I’m wondering how you support it with firmware updates. The latest is Firmware 1.1.1 from March 29, 2019. Will there be additional security updates if needed?

I have just discovered the the Surf-on-the-go has reached End of Life. Does that mean no more firmware updates? What is the replacement?

Yes. I also run a Surf otg. It’s been a great product for me.

If something similar to it is in the works, please do tell.

Can you verify I can update my Surf OTG to version 1.1.1 if the hardware version is 2.2?

you can see here in the https://www.peplink.com/support/downloads/section, for HW Version 2 the latest Version is 1.1.1
