Disable admin port on the WAN

I have already disabled remote administration on my Peplink Surf router. However nmap shows that the router is still listening on port 443 on the WAN. How can I configure the router not to have any ports listening on the WAN? Thanks!

I’m curious: What happens if you change the “Web Admin Port” from the default to some high number, ensure “Web Admin Access” is set to “LAN only” – and then save those parameters?

Brilliant – that works like a dream. Thanks Rick!

Now I just have to remember which port I’m using

You are most welcome. “Age old solution” – IF the router is physically secure: Place a label on the bottom of it that says something like: “192.168.45.1:45564” and the password. :smirk:
