Hello,
I am having trouble connecting my pepwave MAX 700 to my att hotspot network using wifi-wan. I am using an iPad MP242LL/A as a hot spot device with ATT network. The hotspot works fine for other devices but it cannot connect to my Pepwave MAX 700 router. The hotspot shows up as an available wireless network and allows me to enter a shared key but when it attempts to connect I get a continuous ‘scanning’ message and it never connects. My hotspot security setting is set to WPA/WPA2. I currently have firmware version: 6.0.3m12 build 2280
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Hello Patbeeze,
It looks like you’re on an older firmware version. Please upgrade from 6.0.3 to 6.3.4. After you’ve upgraded to 6.3.4, please upgrade to 7.1.0. You’ll need to find your hardware version to know what firmware image to download. Goto the Status tab to find this information. It can be found on the first page you’re taken to under Status.
Here is a link to our firmware Archive.
Upgrading to 6.3.4 can be done manually from System > Firmware. After you’re on 6.3.4 you can go back to System > Firmware and click the Check for Firmware button. This will confirm that an update to 7.1.0 can be downloaded.
Please try connecting to the Hotspot again after upgrading the firmware.

Thank you. How do I go about getting an unlock key for the firmware?
