Connecting RJ11 phone to pepwave soho mk3

I have a pepwave SOHO connected to a fiberoptic modem, at home. My previous router has 2 sockets for RJ11 phoneplugs. The pepwave does not.

Is it possible to connect my phone to the Pepwave router, possibly with a RJ11-to-RJ45 adapter? Or would this, in order to get my phone to work require additional devices/equipment?

What was your previous router?
What type of phone is it?

RJ11 normally signifies an analogue handset rather than a VoIP handset so an RJ11 to RJ45 adaptor would likely not work.

What you need is called an ATA which stands for Analog Telephone Adapter. The ATA will need to be configured and provisioned for whatever service you are using.
