Cell tower ID selection

Does Peplink devices allow the user to specify which cell tower to join (i.e.e cellID)? We have a customer mentioning that Cradlepoint allows this.

If it’s reasonable to engineer, this might be a useful feature.

Would it be possible to direct the Peplink to a specific cell ID? I’ve seen a few situations over the years where this might be desireable. However it could cause a number of problems as well.

I’m unsure of this - we’re just presented with the ID, no option to adjust.

Would be better to adjust bands used instead of tower, usually it’s channel congestion. Although I agree that some areas have worse towers than others (broken or congested backhaul links etc…).

Worth requesting for Cell ID polling list, and maybe blacklist some towers - like we can do with bands and roaming carriers.
