Can't Connect three (3) of four (4) devices to MAX BR1 Mini VR3

Installed the system (with Poyting antennas) in motorhome about two months ago and the system has performed flawlessly since. Using AT&T SIM for connectivity.

I have 4 iOS devices (two iPad & two cell phones) which have worked flawlessly using the WIFI connection since day one! Arrived at motorhome yesterday which is stored away from residence. Only one device (iPhone) would connect to the WIFI. The other three devices would not connect - just continuous rotating circle. I haven’t changed anything or any settings. All the devices see the SSID but only one will connect. I have turned all the units off and back on but no help. I have also turned power off to modem and back on - no change.

Incidentally, I have one client (motorhome Silverleaf) that is connected via hardwire to the modem and it is functioning fine sending data to website on schedule. When I attempt to connect Silverleaf to the modem with WIFI, it also fails to connect. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I am just slightly above NOVICE level, but this Peplink is the “cat’s meow” .

I have used InControl numerous times to review the performance of the modem/AT&T connection. All has worked great until yesterday.

Can you forget the wifi on the devices and add it back.
Check your ssid settings and see if it’s WPA/WPA2 or WPA2/WPA3

Yes, I have “forget” the wifi several time on each of the devices but they still won’t connect. Went back to the motorhome this evening and same situation but with one twist to the story…the iPhone that would connect yesterday, now won’t connect.

I tried a soft reboot on the Peplink but still no connection. I’m pretty sure the ssid setting is set to WPA/WPA2…will check shortly. Thanks for your response!

Is your wifi antennas connected to the external antenna, or are you using both internal antennas?

I am using 5 antennas mounted on the roof of the motorhome. There are NO inside antennas. This installation has been working perfectly for about 2 months. The coach hasn’t moved in about 2 weeks at which time when I returned it was working fine. See the attached picture for the antennas.
Thanks

What firmware sre you using
As a test do devices connect outside of the motorhome.
I’m curious if you have something causing interference inside the motorhome, or if the signal is weak.

Is it possible your Pepwave or iOS devices received a for.ware update in the last two weeks?

Jonathan,

The current Peplink firmware version is 8.2.0 build 4901 which hasn’t been changed since original installation on 2/23/2023. MAX BRI Mini VR3

No there isn’t anything in the motorhome causing interference. I have attempted to connect to the system WIFI from both outside and inside for the last few days. All my devices have been reset and are running various versions of IOS (16.1, 16.4.1, 16.3.10).

In my original post I stated 3 of 4 IOS devices couldn’t connect. That was true at that moment. When I returned the very next day the 4th device failed to connect. All the devices were tried in the exact same location. I am beginning to suspect the Pepink has had an internal failure of some sort. None of the settings have been changed and the motorhome or its surroundings haven’t changed. This is basically a very static environment. All the devices “see” the 2.4 ghz radio but they will not connect.

As background, the motorhome has a system called Silverleaf which reports status conditions of the coach systems to a cloud for the owner to download and review. Silverleaf has the ability to connect to the Peplink via ethernet or WIFI. The ethernet connection works just fine however, the WIFI also can NOT connect to the Peplink WIFI. It has been working for about two months via the WIFI.
Thanks for your assist.!

Antenna installation (exterior)[IMG_4061.jpg

I would try to either change the wifi name or factory reset the router next.
You could also upgrade to 8.3 fw and see if it helps.
I assume voltage level is good if powered on 12v?

Has anyone resolved this? Same thing just started hapenning to us. Thx
