Was wondering if they is a way to set a timer off at certain night hours so internet access can be controlled through router vs unplugging from wall?
You can schedule to disable the WAN at night time.

Apply the Scheduler to WAN “Operating Schedule”

If this is too big a hammer, then you can schedule just the WiFi networks to turn off at night leaving the WAN connection and Ethernet connected devices alive and well.

Both can be done using the scheduler
- Disable SSIDs using scheduler
- Disable the Ethernet WAN
It’s depend the requirements
