I have a BR1 mini, i want to use the LAN computer can use my WAN IP to access the ROUTER IP?
WAN: 69.69.69.69 , BR1 LAN 192.168.50.1 , PC IP 192.168.50.2
Can I use my PC type 69.69.69.69 to access my Router or add 69.69.69.69:34567 to access my IP cam (I have port forward already)?
because I am a notebook, I don’t want to setup 2 setting in MY IP cam profile, one for WAN, other for LAN IP.
thanks
Hello, Wilson.
Let me try to be simple…
from your PC (192.168.50.2) you can access your PEPLINK, using the IP address of the lan side (192.168.50.1) or with the WAN side of your peplink (69.69.69.69). because both ip address are in your peplink.
But… your IP camera is not " inside " of the peplink, just in the same network, your IP camera have another lan ip address… something like 192.168.50.???.. So you need to do a por forward rule in your peplink to redirect WAN 69.69.69.69:34567 to IP_CAM_LAN_IP_Address:34567.
okay?
Regards,
sorry,maybe I using wrong wording.
I mean, How can I use my PC 192.168.50.2 to access 69.69.69.69 (my wan IP) br1 mini router? because if I use 69.69.69.69 ,it cannot search our my Br1 mini router. can I setup some NAT Loop back or DNS setting to Force any 69.69.69.69 to loop back to 192.168.50.1?
thanks
Just checking…
Peplink WAN it is 69.69.69.69 ?
Peplink LAN it is 192.168.50.1 ?
YOUR PC it is 192.168.50.2 ?
Your PC is connected at your LAN PEPLINK ?
So…
When you try at your browser…
http or https ://192.168.50.1 works and you can access you peplink device
but
https://69.69.69.69 don’t work ?
yes didn’t work on 69.69.69.69
Can you do a print screen of your peplink dashboard and send it here?
The first page that you see, when access you peplink!
The place where you can see all the IP Address.
Sample below…

But I don’t want to show the IP here…
ok… I understanding your point.
My PC have the IP 192.168.92.242 gw 192.168.92.241 (lan of the peplink)
so…
when I type https://192.168.92.241 works.
when I type https://192.168.51.2 works.
This is very simple and I don’t have any issue to do this. Tried with Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari.
Maybe you have any issue… I don’t know… Something in your PC or your network.
You can try to open a support case at Peplink Ticketing System
But… Maybe you need your device under support. Maybe they will request you to enable Remote Access to check your device.
Okay?
Hi… another thing, about ip address.
Maybe you already know this… but let me say.
If you have at your WAN Network IP address the following range:
10.0.0.1 to 10.255.255.254
172.16.0.1 to 172.31.255.254
192.168.0.1 to 192.168.255.254
100.64.0.1 to 100.127.255.254
are private/CGNAT address… nobody outside of your LAN will access your device. Using those WAN IP address.
