I want to block some clients on our network for a group of routers. I know I can do this per device by creating an outbound firewall rule.
Now I tried to export the configuration of one router and import it in Incontrol → Network Settings > Firewall Rules. But I get an error that the config contains no firewall rules.
Is there a way to block a device globally with InControl?
Can you please confirm that the config you’re trying to upload to IC2 has firewall rules already configured? If the config file is the default “Allow/Allow” you will get the Error.
You’ll need a Master/Golden config that has already been configured to block those MAC addresses before uploading.
