My ISP seems to have different limits for upload and download allowances, so having a single allowance that combines both is a step in the right direction, but not enough in my case.
I’d love to have separate allowances available for upload and downloads.
And it would be great to switch that circuit into a backup circuit (Restricted backup?) instead of totally off if I exceed the allowance. That way, if my secondary circuit (which just became my primary) goes down, I can at least continue to surf.
For bonus points, it would be great if we could either throttle the circuit if it’s in Restricted mode, or if Outbound policies could be Bandwidth Allowance-aware so we could turn off certain types of traffic in Throttled/Restricted mode.
