Hi folks, what is an effective range of Balance One? I know it comes without external antennas so not sure what area it can cover.
Not sure you’ll get a definitive answer on that since Wifi is so easily attenuated by the physical environment.
I have a balance one on a metal shelf in a metal network cabinet, inside a wooden cabinet on the ground floor in a 16th century cottage with 3ft thick granite external walls and 6 inch non insulated plaster and lathe internal walls that reaches about 15ft in all directions.
The same balance one in an open plan office would likely happily service wifi users up to 30-40ft away - maybe farther.
