Balance One mifi connection stuck on Connecting

I’ve hooked up a Verizon Jetpack 7330L to the USB on my Peplink Balance One to use as a backup to the 2 WAN connections. It detects the device and shows Connecting… on the Dashboard, but never gets to Connected or shows an IP for this interface. I have verified that the Mifi device can access the internet (connected another device to it through Wifi). I’ve tried with Wifi turned on and off on the Mifi device. Signal is 2 bars of 4G, with 2 antennas connected to the mifi. I’ve also configured the Mifi to never Sleep.

I’ve tried different options for the Health Check setting, haven’t seen a difference. I’m currently on firmware version 6.3.1, we had issues when we upgraded to 7.0 with the WAN connections dropping. I may try upgrading to the latest firmware to see if that helps the Mifi at all.

I know the 7330L isn’t on the official list as supported, but there are posts of other people saying that it works so I don’t believe it is just an issue with the device being unsupported. The router does detect the device, just can’t get to Connected status.

Updated the firmware to 7.1.1 build 3775 and the Mifi connects now. Hopefully whatever issued we had with the earlier 7.x version have been resolved and we can stay on this version.
