I was hoping to implement hot failover on my Balance One Core so Starlink outages could be mitigated using a cellular connection.
However, to do so seems to require a $900 Speedfusion license which seems excessive. Unless I’m missing something with respect to licensing, it seems I should trash the One and get a 20X which includes Speedfusion.
Have I misinterpreted the licensing of Speedfusion?
Hi Jeremy. Partially. Yes, SF is an optional license for the Balance One. It’s included with the 20X so long as your PrimeCare is active.
However, you have access to SpeedFusion Cloud/Connect/whatever via a very inexpensive license. (This service – very confusingly – has been renamed twice.) Check it out here, here, and here.
