Balance One and Gigabit Line speeds issue

Hi, i have a Peplink Balance One firmware 7.1.1 build 3775 and have connected a 1 Gigabit leased line
if i run a test directly to the providers NTE the speeds im getting are more than 500-600mb
from the router the speeds i get are 250mb download maximum and 400mb upload maximum

is there any settings i have to adjust or the throughput is limitet to these numbers and i have to go to the next level router (something like Balance 380?)

Any suggestions appreciated

Set your WAN MTU on the Balance One to auto and try again.

unfortunately this didn’t resolve the issue
same speeds still and when connecting the laptop directly the bandwidth is at least 2-3 times higher
any other ideas? firmware?
can the throughput support it? in specs it says 400/600mbps for Balance One
