Balance Failover

Hello,

I have currently 2 sites equipped respectively with a BPL-380 and a BPL-580.
For these two sites I would like to deploy a secondary router to act as failover.

Do I need to purchase the exact same model, or can I order smaller router such as BPL-210 to act as a failover for BPL-380 or BPL-580.

Yes , for VRRP , both models should be the same.

Hootan is right ! You need to have the same model for the High Availability (HA) setup. For more information please refer to the URL below:
