Balance 580 hw v1 running 6.1.2 build 3071 keeps defaulting router name

Hi! As the subject line explains, my Balance 580 hw v1 running 6.1.2 build 3071 keeps defaulting (overwriting) the router name field. I rename it and it saves for a day or so, but then the router overwrites it back to the default of “**SF-router—580” **and indicates “hostname: sf-router—580”

I previously had a Balance 310 and was able to rename that with no problem, but for some reason the 580 just won’t stick.
Any ideas as to why?

This is the “master” device on my LAN and the rest of the gear is just my WAN routers, a bunch of Cisco switches and ~70 clients, so I can’t imagine anything else that would be renaming it…

Are you using InControl 2 to manage this B580? The name of this unit that your defined in InControl 2 will be pushed to the device itself.

I was - well sort of: I had the InControl box checked, although oddly enough it didn’t show in the InControl console… but I unchecked that and I’ll see if that fixes the issue.
