My balance 30 will not upgrade to 8.1.1 It will install the firmware and run for about 5 minutes and then it reboots to firmware 8.1.0. I am using firmware file fw-b20_30-8.1.1s048-build4990.bin. Any suggestions on what to do about this?
I suspect you have set the firmware level to be maintained at 8.1.0 in InControl 2, so you apply 8.1.1 it reboots, checks into IC2 and IC2 sees its running the wrong firmware and pushes 8.1.0 back down.
Go and check firmware policy there as your first place to look.
