Balance 20 and VOIP

I just configured a new Balance 20 and am very happy overall with the install - even got UVERSE modem cooperating. One question - when I enable Firewall intrusion detection, I lose VOIP audio. Can someone suggest a fix? Current phone is a CISCO IP 7960. Thanks…KT

I’ve never heard of that, you could try compatibility mode on the service passthrough page and if that doesn’t work you can open a support ticket here:

UPDATE:

If I allow H323 traffic to passthrough AND enable the firewall intrusion protection, the audio on the VOIP works. Just not sure what allowing H323 traffic to passthrough exposes me to, however.

I would suggest to submit a diagnostic report here for our further investigation. Unless your phone is using H.323.
