A B1 router was sitting idle for a few months. When powered up today it was dead.
No lights on the front. no WiFi network created. No traffic on wan port.
I tried multiple electric outlets.
I tried a Reset with a paperclip, but the status light remained off
Only sign of life is that sometimes, both LED lights will come one, in tandem, for a second on WAN port 2. Is that some type of signal? or error message?
UPDATE: Just as its never DNS, its never electricity. This was electricity. I took the AC adapter from a brand new B1 router and all is well.
In case there is such a thing as a bad batch, the serial number of the bad AC adapter is
0152Z2240603202011
It worked for a while. It was not abused, always indoors, no pets chewing on it.
What’s the procedure for replacing the AC adapter?
