Hello, I have a few Pepwaves HD2s. I am taking them out for TV productions to stream live via multiple CDNs (facebook, Youtube) I’m also connecting a Videon to stream back to the station to play live on the channel. I usually get studderings on the videon and sometimes on my stream. Am I asking too much for my 2 card system to carry, should i do something to the settings to maximize it’s potential, or should I change my T-mobile, Sprint cards to Verizon and ATT?
here is the basic set up
2-4 cameras coming into my laptop via IP coming in from the Pepwave.
I have the a JVC WB-MAP100A bridge connected to LAN 1 to help extend the range of the signal.
I have the cameras om 3MB stream, and usually have no trouble seeing the camera on my vMix program that’s in my laptop(alienware gaming laptop), but when the station sees the Videon return signal, they get a bit of studdering, and sometimes so does my stremas to the CDN.
You are asking whether you should switch carriers yet you have provided no information as to the quality of the signal and strength, bandwidth, latency, etc, that you have with T-mobile and whether you have done any testing with VZW and ATT to see if they are any better.
You want to use SpeedFusion Bonding with Forward Error Correction enabled - it will make a massive difference to any shuddering / jitter artifacts - but only if you have enough bandwidth available over dual cellular connections for the streams in the first place.
