Hi,
I have a Balance 305 and a PLSW E333 Managed Switch.
I created several VLANs and set up my 7 AP 300M PepWaves connected to the Balance by Ap Controller, but when I connect PepWave to the Switch, they appear offline, even though the VLANs work, and I can not manage them anymore.
Thanks
Hi almirjr,
only to be shure… the VLANs are also created on the Switch?

Hi Dennis,
Yes. I create the VLANs on Balance and on Switch.

Hi Att,
are the VLANs tagged or untagged on the switch?
can you paint a short network plan. Only that we talk about the same things
Dennis
Hi Dennis,
I Don’t know. Where I check if VLANs is tagged or untagged?
Thanks,
Jr
Hi,
so you have different VLAN configurations for the APs. Why do you do that?
If you use tagged VLANs, then a device has to send this tag for the access in the VLAN.
I think the problem is, that the AP can not find home to the AP-controller because of the VLAN settings.
You can give it a try and enable also the default VLAN 1 (untagged) to the APs

We are a school. In some places it concerns a vlan and in other places other vlans.
I will try it.
Thank you.
