Aggregate few HTTPS lines

Dear Support,
In the past most web sites worked over HTTP so we managed to take full advantage of Peplink capabilities. Today we fear that the Peplink won’t be able to aggregate few Internet lines together since most sites are HTTPS, and therefore won’t allow simultaneous SSL connections from different IPs.
Do you have customers which manage to take full advantage of the Peplink for SSL connections? Do you see in general a way to overcome the trend of web sites moving to SSL?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,

This is not true. We do have Persistence rule to cater for Https protocol. Please refer here for more details. Let assume the situation below.

Https traffics of user A will be routed through WAN1 persistently based on its source IP address (by default). Traffic will keep routing on the same WAN until the session ends.

At the same time, Https traffics of user B will be routed through WAN2 persistently based on its source IP address (by default). Traffic will keep routing on the same WAN until the session ends also.

Hope this help.

Hi,
we are working with few cloud providers (Office365, AWS, etc.). All cloud providers use SSL connections.
Is it possible to perform Weighted Balance for SSL connections?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,

You can manually distribute the load on SSL (HTTPS) connections using the Persistence > Load Distribution > Custom rule, as per attached.

Hope this helps.

Thanks and regards.
