Advertise 0.0.0.0/0 across PepVPN

Hi,

Currently, neither OSPF or BGP are able to advertise a default route across the SpeedFusion tunnel. Would it be possible to support the injection of a default ? (equivalent to cisco= default-information originate, juniper= create an export policy for 0/0, huawei= default-route-advertise).

Many thanks
Dana

What is the goal to accomplish? A remote site would have an outbound policy rule sending all traffic through SpeedFusion. The HQ site would use outbound policy rules for the WANs or a 0.0.0.0/0 LAN static route pointing to a device on the LAN can be used for SpeedFusion peers.

Hi Ron,
IPSec VPN is commonly used by our enterprise customers as a backup path to a primary fixed line, running BGP over both paths to failover, announcing only a default route from the upstream Internet to the CPE at the customer location.
Bonded SFVPN with BGP would be a great upgrade in terms of replacing the IPSec with BGP.
Yeah, we already have deployed it using L2 Speedfusion, but it isn’t as simple as being able to run BGP on the same nodes that create the tunnel.

Cheers
