It is essential for Partner PCE Engineers to have access to advanced tools on Peplink routers and switches to work through some challenging customer solutions requirements in the PoC/Testing phase. It could either be provided through support.cgi page or some level of access through CLI that is given exclusively to Partners PCE engineers.
With the current model of engaging support for smallest of queries takes longer time to resolve and understand. Also the availibilties might vary with support resources not being available on the call for the time we need to make a solution work through testing live - Can make or break projects.
As part of this feature request i would like the below to be considered.
Acess to full route table on Routers and FusionHub :
- Either through Support.cgi page or with a alleviated level of access to the router CLL.
Advanced access to CLI console on the router
- This could be given to certain selected PCE engineers with additional training/workshop.
Ability to add or remove routes in the route table
- Currently we are limited with the solution only because we have limited access and even to view what is happening in the background we have to wait for support.
- so some added flexibility to add or remove routes to influence the traffic as needed for the solution will be helpful.
We are in a situation if we had the above tools we could have met the solution requirements within a day of configuration & troubleshooting which has taken more than a week just to get to a point to understand the problem due to availibilites of staff to look into the solution. Though the staff has been extremely helpful and co-operative, it is unecessary time delays.
