We understand that the Peplink B One 5G only features a single 5G modem. If I use both an eSIM and a physical SIM card simultaneously, is the device limited to Active-Standby mode rather than simultaneous Active-Active operation?
If we switch to a model equipped with dual 5G modems, would that resolve this issue?
Yes… Because… the device only have one single LTE MODEM to transmit/receive from the mobile operator.
Yes… Sample… BR2 PRO have two LTE MODEM.
BUT…
Check for the prices…
You can use B-ONE as sinergy controller and other device… maybe br1mini5g as a sinergy device.
I suspect that @kevin.wang might be referring to how mobile phones with one modem can have a secondary (e)SIM active enough to receive calls/SMS but on standby for data.
And I must admit, it would be nice if the other SIMs could be online enough to monitor their respective networks for signal quality, even if they’re offline at the IP layer.
