7.01 firmware installed with HW version 1-- is this supported

Hi, I have a Surf SOHO MK3. On the Status page in the admin interface I see that my device is at hardware revision 1 with firmware 7.0.2.

…and on the Firmware page of the admin interface I see:

Current firmware version: 7.0.2
New Version available: 7.1.0 (Release Note)

However, in the release notes (https://download.peplink.com/resources/firmware_7.1_release_notes.pdf), under “2. Firmware 7 Compatibility -
Unsupported Models” I see that the “Surf SOHO HW1” is not supported by firmware 7.1.

Am I misreading the “Hardware Revision” line on the Status page?

The Surf SOHO MK3 is a newer model so you can upgrade to 7.1.0 firmware. The SOHO HW1 and SOHO HW2 are different from the MK3 version.

Thanks. I gather that newer models restart the Hardware Revision at 1.
