Lots of good stuff in there. I’ll have to hold out, I caused too much heart ache with the last beta. I was optimistic we may see mention of ipv6, wireguard, or mulitple openvpn connection possiblities. But those fixes look good and interested to see what options are there for the cat-20 bands

Will any of these ever be considered?

Just a minor issue with RemoteSIM when testing the upgrade earlier. Reverted back to previous stable version for now.

@Cable17, it is related to the RemoteSIM firmware. It will be fine if you are not using RemoteSIM. You may open a ticket for us to do an upgrade.

Thanks.

@TK_Liew,
I believe this is just a false warning now after finally having a few hours of time to test somethings correctly. Both main and other local routers are able to connect with SImInjector, with no issues after a full network restart.

No ticket necessary to open at the moment. Just that error still remains.

Hello Lai,
Please check on the Virtual WAN feature to see if it will get included in this next release, or will there still be a need to request special firmware?
Appreciate your assistance,
Marcus :slight_smile:

Dear Peplink team,
I am missing a fix for the IPv6 stack crash issue of Balance 20X HW1 (acc. ticket 22040009).
Or is this resolved already?
Kind regards,
Christoph

For Virtual WAN feature, it will be on 8.3.0. Therefore, it still needs special firmware based on 8.2.1.

@ckirch, tentatively, we are targeting to include that IPv6 improvement in the next major release, after 8.2.1. We will share more information when it is available.

BTW, a special firmware could be considered after 8.2.1 is GA’ed, if this improvement is needed on a special occasion.
